By using Thaïa, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the app.
1. The service
Thaïa is a cultural-travel companion: AI chat assistant, voice guide, photo identification of sites and artworks, and itinerary creation. The service is provided for information and cultural enjoyment.
2. Account and sign-in
Accessing the app requires signing in via Apple or Google. You are responsible for keeping your account confidential and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
3. Subscription and billing
Thaïa may offer an optional, auto-renewable paid subscription billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your account settings on the relevant store. Any free trial period converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends.
4. AI-generated content
Answers generated by artificial intelligence may be inaccurate or incomplete: always verify important information against reliable sources. This content is not professional advice (legal, medical, financial or otherwise) and should not be relied upon as your sole basis for any decision.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Thaïa for any illegal or abusive purpose, not to attempt to reverse-engineer the app, not to scrape data or overload our servers, and not to circumvent the usage limits in place.
6. Your content
Content you submit to us (for example, a bug report) remains yours. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to use it for the purpose of operating, maintaining and improving the service.
7. Intellectual property
The app, its design and the “Thaïa” brand are ours. Cultural data comes from third-party sources (notably Wikipedia and Wikidata, under their respective licences) and maps are provided by a third-party mapping provider. This content remains the property of its respective owners.
8. Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of the content provided by the app.
9. Termination and account deletion
You may delete your account at any time from the app's Settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate an account in the event of abuse or breach of these terms.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms of Service. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law, subject to confirmation of the competent jurisdiction by the publisher.
